| Brief Explanation of Need | |||||
This project will consist of work within the existing road prism on Forest Service Land in a roadway easement granted to Yavapai County. The agreement with the Forest Service provides for a "one-time" project with no future obligation by Yavapai to maintain this work. Any future work will be the responsibility of the local homowners who applied for the Grant.
The project will consist of roadway plating material added to specific areas on Culpepper-Reay Road in order to allow grading in areas where rocky roadway surfaces prevent adequate grading. Drainage improvements will be added where needed. The total grant amount was $74,000 and a 5% grant administration fee of $3,524 will be deducted by the Forest Service leaving $70,476 for construction. |
