Action Requested Public Works - Approve renewal of an Intergovernmental Agreement with Coconino County to extend a maintenance agreement for Drake Road/Perkinsville Highway. YC Contract No. 2018-141. (District 4 - Supervisor Brown) Brief Explanation of Need The original agreement which was executed in 1993 was for a 5 year period to trade maintenance on a pair of roads within Yavapai County (a portion of Perkinsville Road) and Coconino County (a portion of Drake Road). Yavapai County Public Works has consulted with Coconino County Public Works and both agencies are in agreement that this arrangement is beneficial to their operations. The agreement has been renewed in 5 year increments since that time. If approved, this extension will be effective from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2023.
