Approve temporary employment of Noel Bossen, Accounting Specialist with the Emergency Management Division, due to an unexpected absence of the current employee.
Brief Explanation of Need
As of August 7, 2017, the current Accounting Specialist for Emergency Management has been on an unplanned leave of absence which is considered temporary. This position is responsible for timely processing of grant paperwork and the day to day administrative functions of the division. Noel Bossen was selected for the temporary position based on her prior experience working with the Emergency Management Division as a volunteer, and her willingness to be immediately available. Hours of employment will be no more than 29 hours per week, not to exceed six months, and beginning August 28, 2017. The fiscal impact would be approximately $14,000.00 to be paid from Emergency Management Grant Fund 0035.
We respectfully request the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors approve the temporary employment of Noel Bossen to the position of Accounting Specialist for the approximate amount of $14,000.00 to be paid from Grant Fund 0035, Emergency Management.
