Public Works - Approve one-year contract extensions with Asphalt Paving & Supply, Inc. and Yavapai-Apache Sand & Rock at the unit prices bid for Supply or Supply and Deliver Concrete Sand Material in Yavapai County, AZ - Contract #1722009.  YC Contract No. 2018-145 and No. 2018-146.  (All Districts)
Brief Explanation of Need
On June 7, 2017, the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors awarded Supply or Supply and Deliver Concrete Sand Material in Yavapai County, AZ - Contract #1722009 to Asphalt Paving & Supply, Inc. and Yavapai-Apache Sand & Rock.  The original contract provides "the contract may be extended for an additional period of one month to one year at the unit price(s) bid with the approval of the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors and the Vendor." The County, Asphalt Paving & Supply, Inc. and Yavapai-Apache Sand & Rock have agreed to a one-year extension at their respective unit prices bid.  See original contracts attached.    
 
It is therefore, the recommendation of the Public Works Department to extend this contract with both Asphalt Paving & Supply, Inc. and Yavapai-Apache Sand & Rock. The extended contract period will be June 20, 2018, to June 19, 2019.
