Human Resources - Approve revised job descriptions for the Juvenile Probation Department.
Brief Explanation of Need
A.R.S. 8-204 states that all employees of the juvenile court other than the director of juvenile court services shall be included in the County's merit system and entitled to the same privileges and protections provided in such merit system.  In an effort to comply with this statute, we are requesting approval to change the classification of the following positions from At-Will to Classified:  Deputy Director of Juvenile Court Services, Juvenile Detention Manager, Juvenile Detention Supervisor, Juvenile Probation Officer Supervisor and Office Manager - Juvenile Probation.  Additionally, based on our analysis, Human Resources is recommending that the FLSA status of the Office Manager - Juvenile Probation position be changed from non-exempt to exempt.  We are requesting an effective date of February 11, 2018, for all of these changes.
