Public Works - Approve the purchase of a new loader for the Solid Waste Division of Public Works, as budgeted in the approved FY 18-19 Tire Fund budget. (All Districts)
Brief Explanation of Need
The approved FY 18-19 Public Works Solid Waste Division budget included an Exhibit 3 for the funding of a new Loader that is being paid for using Tire Fund monies.  The Loader will be used for maintenance of the slash program, assisting at community clean ups, and at waste tire collections sites for yard maintenance. This will be purchased from Empire Machinery under the City of Tucson/NIPA Contract #161534 for $259,609.04. This is a savings of $10,390.96 from the budgeted amount of $270,000.00.

We respectfully request the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors approve the purchase of a new Loader as budgeted in the FY 18-19 Solid Waste/Tire Fund.
