Public Works - Approve the purchase of three (3) new replacement motor graders for use by the Roads Division of Public Works. (All Districts)
Brief Explanation of Need
The FY 18-19 Public Works HURF budget included funding for three (3) replacement motor graders. The existing County-owned and operated motor graders being replaced are model years 1994, 2001, and 2003, and are past their warranty replacement cycle of seven years. These will be purchased from Empire Machinery under the City of Tucson/NIPA Contract #161534 for $933,611.06. This is a savings of $76,138.94 from the budgeted amount of $1,009,750.00.

We respectfully request the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors approve the purchase of three (3) replacement motor graders as budgeted in the FY 18-19 HURF budget.
