BOARD OF SUPERVISORS AGENDA-2019
Meeting Date: 01/16/2019
Submitted For: Dan Cherry
Department: Public Works

Action Requested
Public Works - Approve acceptance of Public Roadway Easement for donated right-of-way for Cemetery Road in Ash Fork. (District 4 - Supervisor Brown)
Brief Explanation of Need
Yavapai County has owned the Ash Fork Settlers Cemetery since January 18, 1911; however, access to the property is via a private roadway, known as Cemetery Road, which traverses private property. Recognizing that Cemetery Road is necessary for the public to be able to access the public cemetery, the owner of the roadway has granted the County a Public Roadway Easement.

The Public Works Department respectfully requests that the Board approve acceptance of the Public Roadway Easement to access the Ash Fork Settlers Cemetery in Ash Fork.
